Philadelphia-NL Phillies by a 7 to 3 score at Yankee Stadium.

New York-AL came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th
inning as they scored 4 runs on 4 base hits.  The biggest moment was provided
by Mel Clark who came through for the home fans when he stroked a base-hit
bringing in two baserunners.  New York-AL had 12 hits for the afternoon.
