Ward's Wonders by a score of 8 to 4.

Pittsburg promptly took the lead in their half of the first plating an
isolated run.  Pittsburg banged out 9 hits on the afternoon.  

Galvin(8-9), allowing 4 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Gus
