George Wheeler allowed George Stallings to rest his bullpen, tossing a
complete game as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Louisville Colonels by a
score of 10 to 3.

Louisville never recovered after Philadelphia took the lead in the top of the
4th inning plating an isolated run.  Philadelphia finished with 15 hits in
the victory.  

The winning pitcher was Wheeler(8-1) who allowed 3 runs for the game. Roy
Evans(2-5) ended up with the loss.  He allowed Philadelphia 10 runs in 9
innings of work.
