Johnny Kling had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds beat the
Philadelphia-AL Athletics by a score of 9 to 4.

Kling enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He tripled in the 1st inning, doubled
scoring a run in the 3rd inning, ripped a single in the 5th inning and
doubled which brought home a run in the 9th inning.  Cincinnati had 12 hits
for the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Noodles Hahn(7-10) who went 7 innings, allowing 4
runs. John Malarkey got the save, his 1st.  Cy Young(14-4) was given the
loss.  He was knocked around by Cincinnati, allowing 12 hits and 2 walks in 9
innings.
