Hank Robinson had a strong outing at Sportsman'S Park as the St. Louis-AL
Browns beat the Philadelphia-AL Athletics by the count of 12 to 7.

The St. Louis-AL fans enjoyed the offense provided by Bill Sweeney. He
tripled with all three baserunners touching home in the 1st inning, slapped a
single in the 2nd inning and laced a base-hit knocking in a run in the 4th
inning. For the game St. Louis-AL out-hit Philadelphia-AL 13 to 7.

Ed Walsh(14-8) allowed 7 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Robinson was credited with his 26th save. Bert Humphries(2-1) suffered the
loss in relief. He got hammered, allowing 7 hits and 4 walks in 3 and 2/3
innings.
