Clyde Milan had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Washington Nationals defeated the
Cleveland Naps 13 to 10 at League Park.

Washington scored 6 runs in the top of the 2nd inning with the help of 4 hits.
The critical plate appearance was by Danny Moeller who deflated the spirits
of the home town crowd when he tripled bringing home two baserunners.
Despite scoring in 5 separate innings, Cleveland could not get the win.

Bob Groom(6-10) picked up the victory, allowing 9 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
Groom got relief help from Bert Gallia who gained credit for his 5th save.
The loss was charged to Cy Falkenberg(4-12).  He got hammered, allowing 13
hits and 3 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
