Toby Atwell had 2 base hits at Wrigley Field as the Chicago-NL Cubs beat the
Boston-AL Red Sox 4 to 3.

Chicago-NL came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning.  The big
moment was provided by Vic Raschi who made the crowd happy when he doubled
plating three runs.  Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 4th inning with
no runs scored after that point.  

The win went to Raschi(8-3) who allowed 3 runs in 6 innings. Eddie Yuhas
earned his 9th save.  Max Lanier(1-8) was the losing pitcher.  

With this win, Chicago-NL has a 41-41 record.  They have been 6-4 lately.
With the loss, the Boston-AL ballclub's record is 27-55, worst in the league.
