Center fielder Jim Fogarty had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the Philadelphia
Quakers topped the Cleveland Spiders in 10 innings by a score of 8 to 7 at
Baseball Grounds.

Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Philadelphia ended
up winning it in the 10th inning.  Sam Thompson led off and keyed the rally
when he slapped a one-base hit.  Jack Clements followed next and he singled.
After an out was recorded, Fogarty then tripled making Philadelphia the
victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Philadelphia managed 12
hits in their victory.  

Pete Wood(2-4) was the winner allowing 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Cinders
O'Brien(10-14) suffered the loss in relief.  The Philadelphia ballclub's
record now stands at 28-36.  With the loss, the Cleveland ballclub's record
is 29-38.
