Jimmy Sheckard had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the
Cincinnati Reds by a score of 11 to 5.

Sheckard enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He doubled which plated a run in the
1st inning, slapped a one-base hit plating a run in the 3rd inning, tripled
in the 6th inning and singled bringing in a run in the 9th inning.  Brooklyn
had 17 hits overall, while Cincinnati had 12.  

Bill Donovan(9-10) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 5 runs. Bill Phillips(5-13) was hit with the loss.  He was knocked
around by Brooklyn, allowing 17 hits and 5 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.
