Hans Lobert cracked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Polo Grounds as the Cincinnati
Reds beat the New York Giants 10 to 4.

Lobert provided the offensive punch. He clubbed a two-run home run in the 2nd
inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 3rd inning.
Cincinnati ended up with 12 hits for the game while New York had 6.  

The victory was credited to Art Fromme(8-9) who went 8 innings, allowing 4
runs. Doc Crandall(4-3) was the losing pitcher.  He got hit hard, allowing 12
hits and 2 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.
