WEB GEMS- Top 5th: Tom Kinslow blocked the plate, saving a run!

Joe Visner connected with a 'big fly' and had 6 RBI and Al Maul tossed a
complete game as the seemingly unstoppable Pittsburg Burghers man-handled the
Brooklyn Ward's Wonders - the final score was 16 to 5.

Visner propelled Pittsburg to victory. He belted a three-run homer in the 3rd
inning, lined a base-hit knocking in a run in the 7th inning and ripped a
base-knock resulting in a run in the 8th inning. Pittsburg kept the
scorekeepers busy in the 2nd inning plating 5 runs. Pittsburg had many
opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.

The victory went to Maul(9-3) who went the distance allowing 5 runs. Gus
Weyhing(11-13) absorbed the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 16
runs in 9 innings.

No one has been able to stop Pittsburg lately as they lengthened their winning
streak to 7 games.
