Jennings enjoyed a big day at the plate. He banged out a single bringing in a
run in the 1st inning, delivered a one-base hit scoring a run in the 4th
inning, laced a base-hit in the 5th inning, doubled in the 7th inning,
stroked a base-hit in the 8th inning and smacked a one-base hit which plated
a run in the 9th inning. Baltimore bats were very productive in the 1st
inning when they had 7 runs on 5 hits, the 4th inning which saw them plate 5
runs on 6 hits and the 7th inning which saw them score 5 runs on 5 hits.
Baltimore dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

Hemming(9-8) lasted until the end allowing 5 runs for the win. The losing
pitcher was Phil Knell(1-11). He got hammered, allowing 26 hits and 4 walks
