Glenn Liebhardt went 9 solid innings as the Cleveland Naps defeated the
Washington Nationals 1 to 0 at American League Park.

Cleveland scored what proved to be the only run of the contest in the 5th
inning.  Both teams finished the game with 4 hits.  

It was the 3rd shutout of the year for Liebhardt(8-5). Tom Hughes(9-6) was the
loser.  He was a hard-luck loser, pitching 9 innings and not allowing an
earned run.
