Johnny Logan hit for the cycle and had 3 RBI as the Kansas City Athletics
defeated the Washington Nationals 17 to 10 at Municipal Stadium.

tripled scoring a run in the 4th inning, smashed a two-run homer in the 6th
inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Kansas City kept the scorekeepers busy
in the 8th inning which saw them score 7 runs on 4 hits. This was a game of
many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5
times in all.

Face(1-6) was tagged with the loss in relief.
