Grounds as the Providence Grays beat the Cincinnati Reds 4 to 3.
Cincinnati found themselves trailing quickly as the Providence bats came
through in the first inning plating an isolated run. Cincinnati had a chance
in the 9th but they came up short.
The victory went to Ward(23-16) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. Will
White(20-15) took the loss. He was pinned with the loss despite not allowing
an earned run in his 9 innings of work.
