George Bradley threw a 2 hitter and shortstop Jack Glasscock had 2 base hits
and 2 RBI at Recreation Park where the Cleveland Blues beat the Detroit
Wolverines by the score of 3 to 2.

Cleveland erupted with the game winning runs in the 8th inning plating 2 runs
on 2 base hits. Fred Dunlap started the inning off right when he tripled.
Glasscock followed next and he singled scoring a run. Bill Phillips then
reached on an error. After an out was recorded, Glasscock proceeded to steal
third base. Dude Esterbrook stepped into the box and hit a deep fly scoring
the final run of the inning. The Detroit bats were silent in the bottom of
the 9th.

The victory went to Bradley(7-8) who went the distance allowing 2 runs. Stump
Weidman(10-10) absorbed the loss. Frank Bancroft lamented, 'Bradley was
really aggressive today. He kept coming after our hitters. Heck, why not.
he kept sitting our guys down one after another - like so many bowling pins!'
