Catcher Farmer Vaughn had 4 hits and 2 RBI at Boundary Field where the
Cincinnati Kelly's Killers beat the Washington Statesmen in 12 innings by the
score of 4 to 3.

Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Cincinnati won the
game in the 12th inning.  Emmett Seery stroked a base-hit.  After an out was
recorded, Ed Andrews stepped in and he laced a single.  Andrews took his lead
and swiped second.  Vaughn stepped in and he smacked a single.  Jim Canavan
came up to bat and would ground out scoring the run.  Cincinnati had 13 hits
for the afternoon while Washington had 5.  

Frank Dwyer(11-19) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Frank
Foreman(9-9) was tagged with the loss.  He gave up 13 hits and 6 walks in 12
