Ed Siever was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game and Jimmy Barrett had 2 base hits as the red-hot Detroit Tigers defeated
the Washington Senators 4 to 2 at Bennett Park.

Detroit set the tone of the game in the first inning when they tallied 3 runs
on 5 hits.  That was all the offense they were to need.  Detroit managed 13
hits in their victory.  

The win was credited to Siever(15-8) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Dale Gear(6-3) was given the loss.  Detroit extended their winning streak to
7 games.
