Jimmy Sheckard collected 2 extra-base hits and scored 3 times at West Side
Park where the Chicago Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the score of 12
to 6.

Chicago set the tone of the game in the first inning when they exploded for 9
runs on 7 hits.  That early run support was all that Larry Cheney(17-2)
required.  Both teams totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  

Earl Moore(5-6) was hit with the loss.  He was knocked around, surrendering 12
