Jack Quinn tossed a complete game and left fielder Bob Bescher hit 3 doubles
and had 3 RBI at Polo Grounds as the New York-NL Giants beat the Washington
Nationals 12 to 3.

New York-NL started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first when they scored 3 runs on 3 hits.  New York-NL banged out 15 hits
on the afternoon.  

The victory went to Quinn(2-4) who went the distance allowing 3 runs. Jack
Coombs(8-15) was charged with the loss.  He was unable to control the New
York-NL offense and allowed 15 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
