Catcher Chicken Wolf had 3 base hits and scored 3 times and Guy Hecker pitched
a complete game at Eclipse Park as the Columbus Buckeyes lost a heartbreaker
to Louisville Eclipse by the score of 7 to 6.

Louisville won the game with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning.  Joe
Gerhardt singled, and an error was also committed.  After an out was
recorded, Wolf came up and he reached on an error making Louisville the
victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Both teams totaled 12
hits on the afternoon.  

The win was credited to Hecker(15-10) who went the whole way allowing 6 runs.
John Valentine(3-7) suffered the loss.  With this win, Louisville has a 28-22
record.  They have been 6-4 lately.  With this loss, Columbus has a 3-7
record of late, 21-31 overall.
