Stump Weidman had a complete game and Sam Crane had 2 base hits at Recreation
Park where the Detroit Wolverines beat the Philadelphia Quakers 10 to
9.

Detroit wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning as they scored 4
runs on 3 base hits.  Philadelphia could do no damage in the bottom of the
9th.  

Weidman(11-14) lasted until the end allowing 9 runs for the win. Ed
Daily(10-13) was the loser.  Detroit scored big getting 10 runs off him in 6
and 2/3 innings.
