TEAM RISP- Pirates: 4 for 15 Reds: 0 for 7

Left fielder Tip O'Neill had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Charlie Bartson tossed a
complete game at Congress St Grounds as the Chicago Pirates beat the Boston
Reds 10 to 6.

O'Neill had a big day with his bat. He doubled in the 1st inning, doubled
knocking in a run in the 2nd inning, laced a base-knock in the 7th inning and
tripled bringing home two baserunners in the 8th inning. Due to a poorly
pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different innings was still not enough for
Boston to come away with the victory.

Bartson(3-9) got the victory, allowing 6 runs for the game. Ad Gumbert(8-5)
absorbed the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 10 runs in 7
and 2/3 innings.
