Edd Roush had 2 base hits as the Newark Peppers defeated the Kansas City
Packers 4 to 2 at Federal League Park.

Cy Falkenberg(10-5) gave a fine effort for Newark.  He surrendered 7 hits and
3 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.  Newark managed 7 hits in their victory.

Chick Brandom preserved the game for Falkenberg, recording his his 6th save.
Chief Johnson(6-12) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 7 hits and 1 walk in
