Billy Rhines was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Cincinnati Reds outscored the Boston Beaneaters 3 to
2.

Cincinnati scored the deciding run in the 9th inning.  John Reilly laced a
base-knock.  Jonah Knight stepped up next and he smacked a single.  Tony
Mullane then worked the squeeze play to perfection scoring the run.
Cincinnati finished with just 6 hits in the victory.  

The win was credited to Rhines(18-5) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Kid Nichols(18-10) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 9 innings and
surrendered just 6 hits and 1 walk.

Wth the win Cincinnati now has a record of a league leading 48-25.  With the
