Jim Fogarty had 3 base hits and 4 RBI at Polo Grounds where the Philadelphia
Quakers beat the New York Giants in 11 innings 10 to 9.

Both teams had scored 9 runs after nine full innings.  Philadelphia won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Fogarty
drew a walk.  Arthur Irwin was next and he hit a single.  Joe Mulvey dug into
the batters box next, but he struck out.  Danny Richardson then had one get
away for a wild pitch scoring the run.  The New York batters went down meekly
in the bottom of the 11th.  

The win went to Dan Casey(11-11) who allowed no runs in 3 innings.
Richardson(0-2) was hit with the loss in relief.
