Bill Fagan had a complete game at Sportsman's Park where the Kansas City
Cowboys beat the St. Louis Browns 9 to 5.

Kansas City came up with 6 runs in the 4th inning with the help of 6 hits.
The critical plate appearance was by Jim McTamany who silenced the crowd when
he stroked a one-base hit bringing home two baserunners.  Kansas City banged
out 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Fagan(4-12) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 5 runs. Jim
Devlin(3-5) was the loser.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 13 hits and 8
walks in 9 innings.
