Bert Cunningham pitched a complete game as the Louisville Colonels defeated
the New York Giants by the score of 10 to 1 at Eclipse Park.

Louisville scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning with the help of 8
hits.  The big moment was provided by Frank Shugart who electrified Eclipse
Park when he doubled scoring two baserunners.  Louisville managed 14 hits in
their victory.  

Cunningham(7-6), allowing 1 run for the game, picked up the victory. Les
German(5-7) took the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 14 hits and 3 walks in
8 innings.
