Third baseman George Moriarty smacked 2 triples and Marc Hall was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Detroit
Tigers outscored the New York Yankees 8 to 2.

Detroit came up with 3 runs in the 3rd inning when they had 3 base hits. That
early scoring held up. Detroit had a total of 13 hits for the game.

Hall(9-6) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Jack Warhop(2-5)
was the losing pitcher. He got hammered, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks in 4
and 1/3 innings.

'Ahhh, how sweet it is,' Hughie Jennings sighed. 'That win feels like a tall,
cool drink of water after spending far too much time in the desert lately.'
