Second baseman Del Pratt smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Sportsman's Park
where the St. Louis Browns beat the New York Yankees by the score of 13 to
4.

Pratt had a good day at the plate.  He ripped a single in the 3rd inning,
delivered a solo blast in the 5th inning and lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 6th inning.  New York was out-hit by St. Louis, 17
hits to 11.  

George Sisler(3-2) went 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 4 runs for the win.
Boardwalk Brown(1-3) took the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 17 hits and
7 walks in 8 innings.
