TEAM RISP- Browns: 11 for 20 Colonels: 3 for 13

Catcher Jocko Milligan slammed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Silver King
completed the game without help from the bullpen as the St. Louis Browns
really laid it on the Louisville Colonels 20 to 3.

Milligan was a source of great heartache for the Louisville faithful all day.
He just kept pounding out hits! He smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the
4th inning, slapped a single in the 5th inning, delivered a solo blast in the
8th inning and ripped a base-knock which scored a run in the 9th inning. St.
Louis kept the scorekeepers busy in the 5th inning which saw them score 9
runs on 8 hits. St. Louis simply wore out the Louisville pitching staff,
scoring in 6 different innings.

King(22-9) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. Guy Hecker(7-7) was
tagged with the loss. He surrended 4 homeruns in his 9 innings.
