Jack Crooks rocketed 2 homeruns at Baseball Grounds where the St. Louis Browns
beat the Philadelphia Phillies in 10 innings by the score of 6 to 5.

Both teams had scored 5 runs after nine full innings.  St. Louis came out the
victor in the 10th inning.  After two outs Crooks clubbed a solo home run.
Although they lost, Philadelphia did out-hit St. Louis 11 to 4.  

The win went to Ted Breitenstein(5-12) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3
innings. The losing pitcher was Tim Keefe(11-8).  He gave up just 6 runs and
4 hits in 10 innings.
