Tom Brown slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Eclipse Park as the Louisville
Colonels, running on all cylinders, ripped the Cleveland Spiders by a large
13 to 0 margin.

Brown had a great day at the plate. He had the crowd cheering his every move.
He singled in the 1st inning, lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 3rd
inning, doubled resulting in a run in the 4th inning and ripped a solo home
run in the 7th inning. Louisville kept the pressure on throughout the
contest as they scored in 6 different innings.

Phil Knell(5-9) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 2/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Cy Young(20-8) was charged with the loss. He was touched
for 3 homeruns in his 8 innings of work.

'Some days it just all comes together, and this was one of them' Brown said.
'I've been seeing the ball pretty well lately.'
