Catcher Jack Clements smashed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Willie Sudhoff
completed the game without help from the bullpen as the St. Louis Browns
topped the Boston Beaneaters by a score of 6 to 2 at South End
Grounds.

Clements provided much of the offense.  He lofted a three-run bomb in the 1st
inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 5th
inning.  St. Louis totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.  

Sudhoff(7-12) allowed 2 runs on the game. Vic Willis(9-9) was given the loss.
He pitched 9 innings allowing 10 hits and 4 walks.
