Chick Fraser went the distance at Palace of the Fans as the Cincinnati Reds
beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the count of 8 to 4.

Cincinnati came up with 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning with the help
of 4 hits.  The highlight belonged to Frank Jude who made the crowd come
alive when he ripped a single scoring two baserunners.  Both teams finished
the game with 9 hits.  

The victory went to Fraser(7-7) who went the distance allowing 4 runs. Tully
Sparks(13-5) took the loss.  With this win, Cincinnati has a 44-42 record.
They have been 7-3 lately.  With an impressive recent record of 8-2,
Philadelphia hopes this will only be an isolated loss - followed by another
nice run.
