Cozy Dolan had 2 base hits and 3 RBI as the New York-NL Giants topped the
Chicago-NL Cubs by a score of 9 to 5 at West Side Park.

Chicago-NL found themselves trailing quickly as the New York-NL bats came
through in the first inning when they came up with 5 runs on 5 hits. The big
moment was provided by Dolan who silenced the stadium when he tripled plating
three runs. New York-NL finished with 11 hits in the victory.

The win went to Nap Rucker(9-5) who allowed 5 runs in 7 innings. Mordecai
Brown earned his 5th save. The loss was charged to Dick Rudolph(9-6). He
got hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.

'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
