Pud Galvin pitched a complete game and John Peters had 2 base hits at
Riverside Park as the Buffalo Bisons beat the Cleveland Blues by the count of
4 to 1.

The game started off with Buffalo taking the lead in the first plating one
baserunner.  Both teams ended up with 7 hits on the afternoon.

Galvin(17-11) finished the game allowing 1 run in the victory. Jim
McCormick(14-22) was charged with the loss.  He gave up 4 runs and 7 hits in
8 innings.  

Buffalo now has a record of 20-25.  Cleveland can't seem to snap out of their
recent 'funk'.  Now they have a miserable 2-8 record over the last couple
weeks.
