John Fischer was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Philadelphia Keystones bested the Baltimore Monumentals
in 11 innings 5 to 4 at Keystone Park.

The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings. Philadelphia won the hard
fought contest in the 11th inning. Jack Clements delivered a base-hit.
Clements took his lead and swiped second. Two outs later Jersey Bakley came
up and he drew a walk. Bill Sweeney then fired a sharp breaking ball that
appeared to cross-up the catcher. In any event, it got by him and was ruled
a passed ball giving Philadelphia the victory as 155 happy fans celebrated
wildly. This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as
the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.

The win went to Fischer(2-1) who allowed 4 runs in the game. Sweeney(22-15)
took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 1 walk in 2/3 of an inning.
