Frank Killen was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at Boundary Field where the Washington Senators beat the
Pittsburg Pirates by the score of 9 to 4.

Pittsburg fell behind quickly as the Washington offense came through in the
first inning when they tallied 3 runs on 2 hits.  The key at-bat was by
Killen who came through for the home fans when he lined a base-hit bringing
in two baserunners.  Washington had a total of 10 hits for the game.  

The winning pitcher was Killen(10-15) who allowed 4 runs for the game. Mark
Baldwin(16-16) was tagged with the loss.  He was knocked around, surrendering
9 runs in 8 innings.
