Jack Harper tossed a complete game at Palace Of The Fans as the Cincinnati
Reds won in their last at-bat beating the hopeless Boston Beaneaters by the
count of 4 to 3.

The game was won by Cincinnati when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning.  After two were out Miller Huggins ripped a single.  Cy Seymour came
next and he laced a base-hit.  Cozy Dolan then drew a walk to load the bases.
Fred Odwell was up next and he stroked a one-base hit giving Cincinnati the
win as 6,562 happy fans joyfully celebrated.  Cincinnati banged out 11 hits
on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Harper(11-4) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Kaiser Wilhelm(6-15) was tagged with the loss.  He was hit hard and
gave up 11 hits and 2 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.
