Cy Young tossed a complete game at Huntington Ave Grnds as the Boston
Americans beat the St. Louis Browns 9 to 8.

Boston scored 4 runs in the decisive 4th inning.  The St. Louis batters went
down meekly in the 9th.  The win went to Young(13-9) who allowed 8 runs in
the game. Barney Pelty(5-9) was the loser.  Boston scored big getting 9 runs
off him in 8 innings.
