TEAM RISP- Yankees: 1 for 11 White Sox: 6 for 16
WEB GEMS- Bot 4th: Luke Boone robbed Buck Weaver of a base hit.

First baseman Jack Fournier had 4 hits and 6 RBI as the Chicago White Sox
ballclub embarrassed the New York Yankees by the count of 13 to 2.

Fournier had a great day at the plate. He ripped a base-knock bringing in a
run in the 1st inning, doubled resulting in a run in the 5th inning, doubled
emptying the bases in the 6th inning and doubled knocking in a run in the 7th
inning. Chicago out-hit New York for the game, 16 hits to 8.

Jim Scott(6-12) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 8 innings. The losing
pitcher was Bob Shawkey(5-10). He allowed 14 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.

'It's just about getting in a good hitting position and just going out there
and being prepared,' Fournier said. 'You try to hit in your own capacity and
not do too much. I just try to have a good approach, day after day, game by
game, and pitch by pitch.'
