Catcher Jocko Milligan rocketed 2 homeruns and Bobby Mathews allowed Harry
Stovey to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Philadelphia
Athletics defeated the Louisville Colonels 4 to 1 at Recreation
Park.
Milligan enjoyed a big day at the plate. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in
the 2nd inning, slapped a base-hit in the 3rd inning and blasted a solo shot
in the 6th inning. Philadelphia rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.
