Fritz Clausen came through with a solid 10 innings as the Louisville Colonels
topped the Baltimore Orioles in 10 innings by a score of 4 to 3 at Union
Park.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Louisville won the hard fought
contest in the 10th inning. Harry Taylor doubled. After another out, Fred
Pfeffer was the next batter, but he struck out. Charley Bassett then
delivered a single, and an error was also committed, scoring the run.
Louisville rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.

Clausen(1-0) allowed 3 runs on the game. George Cobb(7-17) suffered the loss
in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his
1 and 2/3 innings of work.
