Cy Young tossed a complete game as the Cleveland Spiders really laid it on the
Philadelphia Phillies 11 to 1.

Cleveland drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
scoring a single run utilizing 3 base hits.  Cleveland banged out 15 hits on
the afternoon.  

The victory went to Young(14-13) who went the distance allowing 1 run. Harry
Keener(4-3) suffered the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 15 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.
