Second baseman John O'Brien had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Washington Senators
outscored the Louisville Colonels 15 to 10.

Louisville was unable to recover after Washington went ahead in the 4th inning
as they scored 4 runs on 3 base hits.  Washington lit up the scoreboard in
the 4th inning with 4 runs on 3 hits and the 5th inning with 6 runs.  Even
though they scored in 5 different innings, Louisville was not able to pull
off the win.  

Win Mercer(10-11) picked up the victory, allowing 10 runs in 8 innings. Bill
Hill(7-14) took the loss.  His biggest problem was control as he allowed 14
walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.
