Dale Long hit for the cycle and had 5 RBI as the Cleveland Indians defeated
the Brooklyn Dodgers by the score of 13 to 7 at Ebbets Field.

Long was a one-man wrecking crew.  He laced a base-knock in the 2nd inning,
lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 5th inning, tripled plating three runs
in the 6th inning and doubled knocking in a run in the 9th inning.  Cleveland
had many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.

Paul Lapalme(4-2) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Luis
Arroyo(5-6) took the loss in relief.  Wth the win Cleveland now has a record
of 41-57.  With the loss Brooklyn now has a record of 47-55.
