Charlie Householder knocked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI and Sam Kimber allowed
Brooklyn's manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the
Brooklyn Atlantics defeated the Pittsburgh Alleghenys 12 to 5 at Washington
Park.

The Brooklyn fans enjoyed the offense provided by Householder. He blasted a
two-run home run in the 2nd inning and lifted one out of the park for a two
run home run in the 5th inning. Brooklyn totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.

Kimber(14-11), allowing 5 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Jack
Neagle(7-15) was charged with the loss. He was unable to control the
Brooklyn offense and allowed 13 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
