Tommy Tucker had 2 base hits as the Washington Senators defeated the reeling
St. Louis Browns by the score of 9 to 3 at Robison Field.

Washington took the lead for good in the top of the 4th inning scoring 3
runners on 3 hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Kip Selbach who
quieted the home crowd when he doubled which was good for two runs.
Washington banged out 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Doc McJames(15-7) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. The
loss was charged to Bill Hart(3-16).  He was touched for 12 hits and 8 walks
in 8 and 1/3 innings.  

Washington extended their winning streak to 6 games. Tom Brown held court
after the contest, 'Everything is coming up aces right now.  It is important
for our team to ride this wave as long as we can.  Every win is important.'
