Babe Adams pitched 10 strong innings and Honus Wagner had 2 base hits at
Forbes Field where the red-hot Pittsburgh Pirates beat the hapless Brooklyn
Superbas in 10 innings by the score of 5 to 4.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Pittsburgh came out the
victor in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Wagner drew a walk.
Dots Miller stepped into the batter's box and he reached on an error.  Bill
McKechnie then delivered a base-hit to load the bases.  Vin Campbell was up
next and he stroked a single making Pittsburgh the victors to the delight of
the home town faithful.  Pittsburgh finished with 10 hits in the victory.

Adams(12-9) got the victory, allowing 4 runs for the game. Sandy Burk(0-1) was
the loser in relief.  He surrendered 1 run and 3 hits in 2 and 1/3 innings.

Pittsburgh remained hot, improving their record to 53-32.  They now have a
record of 9-1 in recent days.  With the loss, Brooklyn has a record of 3-7
lately, 28-56 overall.
